The Icograda World Design Congress planned in collaboration with the Central Academy of Fine Arts, will take place on 24-30 October 2009 in Beijing, China. Through the theme of XIN, the Congress will explore contemporary issues and challenges facing communication design in four dimensions: A(ccess)— design democracy and accessibility, B(alance)—unity, harmony, C(ommunicate)—Information and crosscultural communication, D(efine)—design of the future, and for the future.
Icograda 之“世界設計大會”將會與中央美術學院合作, 於十月廿四至三十日在中國北京舉行。本次大會主題為“XIN-信”。以“XIN-信”為主題，為創造公正、和諧的今日世界，2009 北京世界設計大會將圍繞以下各項專題，展開全球對話：Access 獲益為更多人的設計；Balance 和諧和諧與可持續發展; Communicate 交流信息的承載、傳達以及跨文化交流；Define 定義定義設計與未來。
