Design:Made:Trade, Melbourne

Design:Made:Trade is a diverse and inspiring trade exhibition space of over sixty 3x3 metre VISY cardboard booths, including some of Australia’s leading furniture, fashion and industrial design brands.

Design:Made:Trade returns for its third year and will be accompanied by a huge number of programs including workshops, talks, exhibitions and displays. This historic site comes alive with activity during the first week of the Festival so register to visit if you are part of the design industry or come along with family and friends on the public days.

Hong Kong Art and Design Festival 2010

The exhibition, which revolves around the theme “GO fad, GO fashion,” covers a spectrum of disciplines, ranging from talent cultivation to technical support, and from craftsmanship to the culture of commercial design. Meant to promote the creative industry of Hong Kong, the festival will be an occasion of active connection and interaction among various sectors concerned.

The SCM Annual 2010

Presented by the School of Creative Media and City University (CityU) of Hong Kong, with the support of 1a Space, Artist Commune and Videotage, the SCM Annual 2010 is going to be held in Cattle Depot Artist Village, Hong Kong Film Archive and CityU, from June 28 to July 7. More than 90 artworks are going to be shown in various venues.

The SCM Annual 2010 will be included two main shows, art exhibition at Cattle Depot Artist Village from 1 to 7 July while screening programmes will be held from June 29 to July 2 at Hong Kong Film Archive and 2-6 July at the campus of CItyU. All the programmes will be opened to the public and free of charge.

"DESIGN SHOW 2010" graduation exhibition by SCOPE

‘Design Show 2010’ is the graduation exhibition jointly presented by Bachelor of Design (Communication Design) and Bachelor of Design (Multimedia Design) students of SCOPE, City University of Hong Kong and Swinburne University of Technology. ‘Dazzling Banquet’ is the theme of the show this year. It implies the meaning of a garish banquet to celebrate their achievement on design in a stage of life. This exhibition will showcase all graduates design projects of the two programmes.

‘Design Show 2010’ 為城大專業進修學院及 Swinburne University of Technology 合辦之視覺傳達設計及多媒體設計畢業展。本年度之主題為‘炊燦’，喻意學生們以烹調一頓熣燦奪目的盛宴，來慶祝完成人生中一個重要的階段，宴會中各種菜餚正是他們的設計成果。是次展覽將展出以上兩系近百位畢業生的展品，有廣告媒體、信息設計、書刊設計、數碼媒體及多個設計領域，誠邀閣下細味。

250gr is a solidarity project created by Brigada Creativa (A Design and Creative Projects Studio). A gallery of designs, illustrations and graphic pictures that nonprofit organizations can use in their corporate or promotional material, such as merchandising to raise funds. Mad In Spain, 2-3 July

The fifth edition of MAD MMX brings together the best designers of the moment Madrid, May 27, 2010. MadinSpain (MAD MMX) has become the most important design and web creativity event in Spain. The event will count with the presence of acclaimed designers such as David Carson, Isidro Ferrer or Toni Segarra and will take place on the 2nd and 3rd of July in the Conference Hall of Madrid (Palacio de Congresos).

During two days, the best designers and creative minds, national and international will be sharing with more than 2000 people our ideas and points of view at MAD MMX. This years edition, the fifth, is also organized by Domestika.org, a Spanish design community held in Spain with more than 30.000 members from countries like Spain, Mexico, Argentina.
